The tourism sector application creates a structure that institutions providing education in this field should benefit from the most. In this regard, the internship program, which students are required to complete during their school period, provides them with the opportunity to use the knowledge they have acquired at school in practice and actively work in the sector, helping them gain both work experience and sector experience. To gain this experience, our faculty has made internships mandatory for students. In order to graduate from the program, students must successfully complete 30+30 (30 days in two separate periods) days of internship at workplaces related to their field, in accordance with our faculty's internship guidelines. Internship requests from tourism businesses are posted on student bulletin boards to inform students. After the internship, the company sends the student's approved internship documents confirming that the student has completed the internship, and the students prepare their internship files and submit them to the school. The internship files are then reviewed by the internship committee; if necessary, a one-on-one interview is conducted with the student; if no deficiencies are found, the internship is approved by the committee.
